This is the only kind of home I am comfortable visiting IN. I am PERFECTLY happy to sit on the floor, leaned against a chair holding a snoozing, happy dog, and reach up to pet it if they will tolerate me doing so. Making my reservations for there as I type.... I'll bring some dog hair from here to add to yours, and maybe they'll welcome me right in? How about biscuits; will that do it?
One may be able to slip into the spot between the labs on the couch for a snooze...looks comfortable enough...I smell like a lab, maybe they would make room?

My dogs are jealous. They have to sleep on a DOG bed. I'm going to stop letting them read your blog!

I agree that we're far too lenient about being displaced by our dogs. The dogs tell me I'm outnumbered.
