It's why they're called "Springer" Spaniels


This is Gertie, now seven months old. We're going to our trainer Vic tomorrow for her first real training class.

    We love our springer. I wish I had the physical ability to keep up with him and have him trained to hunt. They are high energy dogs, but wonderful companions.

    Lurchers on the other hand...

    One is curled up in his basket, the other is upside down on the sofa. Pretty much their default position unless they're off the lead in a field- they wake up a bit then :)
