Love the photo! Unrelated - I'm reading James Rebanks' "The Shepherd's life" and I am absolutely loving it! I can't remember if I saw it on your sidebar or read about it in an online Guardian article... if you haven't read it I would recommend it. Beautiful, well-written, just all round lovely.
It's warm against the house. And safe from all those marauding dogs! Plus the bed is so soft and cozy. Why would adorable lambs NOT want to sleep in the well-tended, soon-to-be-disheveled garden bed??

Hmmm sheep as gardeners, my aunt would not aprove. marvelous blog though. I used to shoot and walk through where you live.
